Wasabi Tartar Sauce
Traditional tartar sauce with a hint of wasabi. Perfect with popcorn shrimp, fish and chips, almost any deep fried foods and great dipping sauce for vegetable sticks.
- 1 smoked hard boiled egg
- Chopped Onion 1 tbsp
- Capers 1 tbsp
- Mayonnaise 2/3 cup
- Wasabi Salt 1/2 tsp
In this Recipe
- 1Lay a sheet of aluminum foil on a pan with a lid. Place about 2 tbsp of wood chips on top of the foil. Using a grill net, place a boiled egg on top and close the lid.
- 2Turn the heat on medium high until there is smoke. Then, lower the heat to low for 10 minutes.
- 33) Smash the smoked egg with a fork and mix with the rest of the ingredients.
- 4When the sauce thickens, pour on top of the lamp chop.
